INFINITUM reputation grows at resort buils for the future
Costa Dorada’s premier golf resort with a newly revitalised Lakes course
INFINITUM has cemented its status as Costa Dorada’s premier golf, lifestyle and real-estate resort with a newly revitalised Lakes course, with changes set to enhance the visiting experience and reinforce the resort-wide commitment to environmental sustainability.
The resort has recently upgraded its popular Lakes course, renovating the tees and fairways and installing Bermuda Tifway 419 grass to bring each surface into the future. This grass demands significantly less water and fertiliser than Rye grass, perfectly serving the resort’s dedication to consistently improving sustainability. The course is symbiotic with the gorgeous Séquia Major wetlands serving up a number of exciting water hazards and picturesque Catalan scenery.
However, INFINITUM has much more to offer than just golf. A stunning selection of BREEAM-certified, high-quality homes sit within walking distance of everything you need to live in luxury on Catalonia’s beautiful coast. These properties come in a wide range of sizes and styles so, no matter what you are looking for, the perfect home is waiting.
With eight swimming pools, the INFINITUM Beach Club is the perfect place for both families and adults to unwind. Its Signe pool is reserved exclusively for the latter, providing a most peaceful setting, with the new Pura pool allowing guests to enjoy the best in well-being and downtime. Children are also catered for in the Family Area, able to play in safe surroundings as parents relax in the sun on the Beach Club’s loungers.
INFINITUM is proud to welcome diners with a diverse repertoire of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. The crown jewel is the spectacular Flamma Beach Foodhouse, which serves an eclectic range of Mediterranean food crafted with fresh local ingredients. For a lighter experience, Gusto Mediterranean Tapas brings gourmet flavours to the Beach Club, while the Hills Clubhouse offers panoramic views for guests to enjoy as they dine on invigoratingly healthy dishes.
Complementing the Lakes courses, golfers can also take on the challenging Hills layout, which switches back and forth through a wealth of natural pine trees and towering cliffs. With breath-taking views across the Llaberia Natural Reserve and the Mediterranean Sea, there is plenty to see as you explore a series of risk-reward holes. To add to the resort’s two 18-hole layouts, the nine-hole Ruins takes guests on a journey through fascinating archaeological remains.
With two championship-standard 18-hole courses on offer, INFINITUM is no stranger to hosting prestigious tournaments. The ISPS Handa Championship in Spain - part of the 2022 DP World Tour schedule - graced the Lakes course in April. Local hero Pablo Larrazábal emerged victorious in a thrilling contest. The resort also hosts the DP World Tour’s Final Stage Qualifying School, which will return this November following a three-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
