BULGARIAN GOLF HOSTS ITS 20th AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Golf in Bulgaria is growing in popularity
The Bulgarian black sea has become a popular golf destination over the last few years since hosting the Volvo world match play on the European Tour in 2013.
Besides the black sea there are 3 other courses in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Golf Association is hosting their 20th amateur championship from the 19th to 21st September at the Hyatt Pravets golf resort, located just 40 minutes from Sofia international airport via a direct motorway. All major and low cost airlines have regular daily flights.
Being a young developing country the golf association craters for all golfers, from the serious players looking for WARG points; main championship, Mid-am & seniors to the reactional golfers looking to play a stableford competition.
The championship is professionally run, the secretary general of the association is a Englishman who co-started golf in the country back in 2001 & the team all speak English and have great experience in hosting a enjoyable friendly event which players keep returning from the UK , Europe and the USA.
Full details are available on the dedicated web site www.bgopen.eu so take a look and consider experiencing a new golfing destination with fantastic hospitality this September.
