Nicklaus announces vote for Trump

Jack Nicklaus has caused somewhat of a Twitter storm by releasing a statement supporting Donald Trump. It seems many do not share the Golden Bear's admiration for the President of the United States and many of the responses contain some rather fruity language. The negatives responses' to Jack's statement included statements such as "Disappointing to see this from such a sports legend."

Saudi Arabia has today announced a world-first initiative that will offer free golf to women across the Kingdom. All players signed-up to the scheme will be designated as a Ladies First Member at either Riyadh Golf Club, Dirab Golf Club or King Abdullah Economic City’s (KAEC) Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, depending on their location.

Laird and Cantlay lead in Las Vegas

Bryson Dechambeau cam down to earth with a slight bump in the third round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Level par rounds are no good in a tournament where the leaders are averaging rounds of better than six under par! Round of the day came from U.S. Open runner-up Matthew Wolff who had an incredible run of three eagles in a five hole spell on the back nine of his round of 61.

DeChambeau on top once again

Bryson DeChambeau is a man in form and his confidence is at an all-time high. The nine-under-par opening round in Las Vegas is the lowest opening round of DeChambeau's PGA Tour career and he leads by one at TPC Summerlin. It was a battle of the big hitters as DeChambeau was partnered with Cameron Champ and Matthew Wolff who he saw off in the final round of the U.S. Open.

Historic Welsh course to be given over to sea defences
