Jason Day completed his wire to wire win at the Players Championship, shooting a one under 71 around Sawgrass. That's seven wins in the last ten months. In his last 20 starts he's been in the top ten 13 times.
He didn't have it all his own way though, although the only person challenging him was himself with some poor shots on the front nine. Worst of which was making a bogey 6 when only 40ft away from the green on the ninth. Staunching it up on the back nine, no one got within 2 shots of the lead all day. Incredibly he was bogey free for the back nine all week!
Kevin Chappell finished second to Day for the second time in this stretch, while Justin Thomas showed that hanging out with Rickie and Jordan was good for his golf game. His 65 on the final day was the low round of the day.
Here are ten of the best and worst shots from day 4 at the Players Championship
Russell Knox knocks it close
Back to the scenes of Saturdays crime, Knox wasn't going to make nine again...
Bubba had this tricky distance for an eagle...
Should Cameron Tringale have lobbed this? Look at how much it breaks!
Adam Scott made the 17th look easy.
Jason Day chipped like this on the 8th
He duffed it three time around the green on 9 though...
Kevin Chappell making his third eagle of the week...
He also showed no fear on 17.
Jason Day ripped it down 18 off the tee. His golf is at different level right now.
And after Day's final putt, Dash, well, dashes across the green.
