This week I'm skipping the Shell Houston Open, and betting on the first Major of the season. It’s the LPGA's ANA Inspiration, formerly known as the Kraft Nabisco. The first Women’s Major of the year.
The Spiv is back with the inside track....The WGC World Match Play is one of my favourite events of the year. I love Match Play. The only problem is that there isn’t enough of it around on the Tour. This makes it difficult to place a bet. An out of form player with a strong competitive nature can easily win this one.

You can imagine how annoyed the Spiv was yesterday morning when he woke up to find out that Brandt Snedeker didn’t win the Sony Open after a play off. Gomez deserved it and well played, that man. But still managed Each Ways on Sneds and Kisner so on the whole...can’t grumble too much now can I?
