Latvian golf sisters. I think it's fair to say when we first started writing about golf, many moons ago, we never thought Latvian Golf Sisters would be a phrase we used in any of our work. It's not exactly a hot bed of golf.

The Puisite sisters both took the game up with lessons bought for them by their father. Apparently at first they were more interested in chasing butterflies. But as golf grew in the country, and Ozo Golf Course was built, their enthusiasm flourished, resulting in them both becoming pretty damn good at the game. Krista earned herself a scholarship at Texas State university, and Mara followed. Krista has since turned pro and is pursuing her dreams of professional golf on the Symetra tour in the US, while Mara is a proud Texas State Bobcat.
