Golf's very own Rocky – Cassandra Blaney

She's got the Eye of the Tiger

Cassandra Blaney is not your typical Swingin' Siren. She absolutely smashes it, and fancies a crack at womens Long Drive. More importantly she's a Rocky nerd! When talking about the contents of her iPod she once said this:

"But the top played song has to be between Hearts on Fire or the training montage from the Rocky soundtrack lol. I'm a huge Rocky nerd so those songs get me through the hard parts of my workouts every time!" So she's got the Eye of the Tiger, but luckily not got Tiger's roving eye on her...

She plans on getting to the LPGA, and played some Symetra Tour golf this year. Unlike most players, she didn't play college golf and turned pro at 18. The ladies game needs some more big hitters, so here's hoping she gets that tour card sooner rather than later.
