Faldo Series celebrates first 2020 winners

Talented English junior golfers, Corey Neville and Ellen Hume, have won the first events of the 2020 Faldo Series Europe calendar, securing their places at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club for the Europe Grand Final in November.  Players were tested on the Melbourne Course, a championship design by Ryder Cup duo Peter Alliss and Clive Clarke. Dryburgh doubles up on Rose Series

Gemma Dryburgh won for a second consecutive week on the Rose Ladies Series at Royal St, George’s in Kent. The 27-year-old from Scotland shot an excellent one-under-par 69 to win by a shot from tour stars Georgia Hall and Charley Hull. The series now moves to the JCB Country Club in Staffordshire next week and will conclude with a three-course grand final in Surrey beginning on 5th August.

Dustin Johnson overcame blunders on the back nine to take his first PGA Tour event in over a year. The now World number three saw off the challenge of Kevin Streelman to win by a single shot after carding a final-round three-under-par 67.
