GolfPunk Swingin’ Siren, Maria Verchenova, has blazed it up on the final day of the Women’s Olympic golf, shooting a course record 62.
Maria started the day five over for the tournament, having struggled for the first three days. But the final day was to be a completely different matter, as she clearly wandered into the zone and stayed there.
She made nine birdies and had a hole in one at the par-3 4th hole, finishing with a nine-under 62, a new course record for the Gils Hanse designed track. It might not be Gold,Silver or Bronze but it is a new Olympic record.
