What are the odds on Tiger Woods winning a major?
Seriously, does Francesco Molinari really have more of a chance?

Tiger will set foot on a golf course for the first time in anger when he tees it up at the Hero in the Bahamas this week. And it's prompted the bookies in Vegas to calculate his chances of getting back into the winner's circle at a major in 2018.
Westgate Las Vegas SuperBookmakers are putting Tiger at 20-1 for winning one of golf's four biggest tournaments next year. Those are the same odds given to Francesco Molinari, Rafael Cabrera Bello and Martin Kaymer.
The odds reflect both Woods' expected chances of winning as well as the inherent interest in him from us punters. Currently, there are 30 golfers with better odds of winning a major. Some are obvious: Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth are both 3-2. Less obvious are Matt Fitzpatrick, Daniel Berger, Alex Noren and Patrick Cantlay who are all shorter odds than Tiger at 15-1.
It might seem madder than a mad thing on National Mad As A Bag Of Socks Day, but plenty of punters have been laying money down for TIger to win the Masters in April 2018, seeing his odds drop from 100-1 to 50-1. Fancy some of that action? Yeah, me neither... Mind you, on the other hand....
