Sergio in contention at Bryon Nelson

As he shoots back nine 29

Sergio Garcia went round the back nine at the Byron Nelson in just 29 shots to move within four shots of leader James Hahn.

Defending champion Garcia, posted a six–under–par 64 to go eight under par, and tied for sixth.

But it was Jason Day who was properly on fire, as he shot the round of the day with a 63 to get to 10 under, and T3 with overnight leader Jason Kokrak, who shot a 72 to throw away a five shot lead.

It was not Dustin Johnson’s day that is for sure. After a career–best 62 on Friday, he went round in 72, which included a triple–bogey on the par three fifth.

James Hahn had six birdies in his six-under-par 64 to lead on 12 under, one ahead of Billy Horschel.

But with Day and Garcia lurking they are going to have to battle hard for victory.
