Rory McIlroy has made the top five of the Sunday Times sporting rich list off the back of his FedEx victory.
McIlroy scooped a cool $10m when he won the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup last September to finish his season on a high. And now the Sunday Times has placed him as the fifth wealthiest sportsman in the UK with an estimated net worth of almost £82 mIllion.
Lewis Hamilton took the top spot with his £131 million fortune, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival in England sees him edge team-mate Wayne Rooney into second with £110 million.
F1 driver Jensen Button (£86)) completes the top four, with Andy Murray (£77 million), Jose Mourinho (£61 million), Gareth Bale (£54 million), Pep Guardiola (£50 million) and NBA star Luol Deng (£50) rounding out the top ten.
McIlroy also signed a new deal with Nike earlier this year, which should secure his top 5 position for a good while yet.
