Fancy buying Rory's old motor?

There’s a top–of–the–range Audi Q7 on sale, with 80,000 miles on the clock, and if you check the log–book you’ll find that one Rory McIlroy was a previous owner.

Not the immediate previous owner, of course. It may be a 3.0 litre beast, but it is now six years old, so well past its sell–by–date in Rory’s terms.

Mark Morgan, of Morgan’s Cars told Sunday Life: “It was bought from Agnews and it was previously owned by Rory McIlroy and then another lady before we bought it.

“We have had a few people interested in it already and there is going to be a golf fan out there that just really wants it simply because it was his.”

Mark added that people have already been cracking jokes about the motor’s famous past owner, with one quipping: “You better check the seats because apparently you’ve got a hole in one.” How we laughed!

Mark added: “For what it is, it is excellent value.” And he assured would–be owners that there were no scuffs in the boot from Rory’s golf bag.
