Bit weird though?

If you can overcome the slightly weird 'why would I want to buy someone else's shoes?' dilemma, and if you can afford it, you can buy the shoes that Arnie wore to win the 1958 Masters... Three careful owners...

Heritage Auctions is offering three Arnie items during its Platinum Night Sports Collectibles Catalogue Auction on February 25th & 26th.
Leroy Neiman's kaleidoscope 1974 portrait of Palmer Chief is also up for grabs with Heritage estimaitng a £100,000.00 value. (Current bid as of 8th Feb $25,000.00)
But it's the wingtip golf shoes worn by Palmer at the 1958 Masters (Arnie's first major) that leaps out. Palmer presented the shoes to his personal pilot as a gift in the 1960s, who later passed them on to his son who got Palmer to sign them in 2004. (Heritage have placed a $15,00.00 valuation, the current bid is £4,800.00)
There is also a poster which Palmer has also signed of all Ryder Cup captains since 1927. Heritage estimate this to have a value of about $4,000.00. (Current bid $1,000.00)
