Englishman Aaron Rai, 29, gets his first win on the PGA Tour this week at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina in a 36 hole thriller of a final day.

Rai, was a massive four shots back, after leader Max Greyserman holed out his second shot on the 13th for an eagle.

A disaster collapse from Greyserman saw him quadruple bogey the 14th hole, and double bogey the 16th, giving Rai a one shot lead before birdying the last hole to secure his first PGA Tour title.

The Wolverhampton born player, Rai, stated that this win was "truly a dream come true. So many people have played a huge role in me being at this point."

After holding his nerve on the back 9, he added, "I felt pretty calm. I knew the situation. I did just a good job sticking to what we do well."

During a day in which everyone played at least 36 holes due to Thursday being a no go thanks for bad weather, Matt Kuchar was the only player that failed to finish his final round on Sunday. He came back alone on Monday to finish T12 at -11.

Kuch did later apologise to a small group of reporters after his finish, saying "Sorry that you guys had to come out this morning. Nobody wants to be that guy, which I feel I turned into, the one guy that didn't finish." "I know the ramifications, I know it stinks. Certainly I apologise to force everybody to come out here."

We still love ya Kuch.
