Warne and Botham in unique charity fundraiser

The Golf Challenge 2016

Sir Ian Botham and Shane Warne will be completing a round of golf with a difference this Thursday. The Golf Challenge 2016 will see a round of golf played - with each hole in a different first-class cricketing county.

The challenge will be starting at 6:00am at Rockliffe Hall, County Durham.

They will travel from county to county by helicopter, and the unique challenge will be filmed by Sky Sports throughout the day as they aim to raise money for the Beefy Charity Foundation.

Their schedule shows that they should be due to arrive at The Belfry at around 7.30pm, where they will play the world famous 10th hole on The Brabazon. Then it's on to The Worsley Marriott, Lancashshire for the final hole of the day at 8.30pm.

All proceeds raised by this event will be going to The Beefy Charity Foundation, www.beefysfoundation.org.

The Foundation helps to fund specific projects relating to chronic illnesses and other challenges that young people face.
