Tiger Woods challenge falters at the Quicken Loans

As he trails by six shoots

Tiger Woods has fallen six shots off the lead at the Quicken Loans.

Tiger posted a two-under 68 to move to seven under par, but that was not enough to keep up with the leaders.

Abraham Ancer shot the lights out with a  62, whilst Francesco Molinari shot a 65 and they both have a share of the lead at 13 under.

They sit two shots ahead of Zac Blair and Ryan Armour.

Woods got off to a strong start. With five birdies in six hoed from the fourth to the ninth, but four bogeys in the course of his round put paid to his challenge.

"I had some birdie opportunities on the back nine, didn't make them, made a couple bogeys there too," Woods said.

"It was frustrating because I thought 10 under would have been a good score for me to end at for the day and I could easily have got that on the back nine.”

"I'm going have to shoot a low round to give myself a chance,” Tiger concluded.

He did have one great moment, with this shot of the day:
