Tiger adds Trump to his list of President golf buddies

Says the Prez elect lashes it

They might look like a couple of meth-battered hobos at a re-hab retreat in this picture, but these are two of the most influential and powerful people in the world. And they came together to play golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, just before Christmas.

Let this be a warning to you kids...

"I recently played with President-elect Donald Trump" said Tiger in his blog. "What most impressed me was how far he hits the ball at 70 years old. He takes a pretty good lash.

"Our discussion topics were wide-ranging; it was fun. We both enjoyed the bantering, bickering and needling. I also shared my vision for golf and what I'm trying to do.

In the blog, Woods went on to reveal he at times doubted he would ever play professionally again before his return last month at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

Meth Victim Support Officer Dale Grinsky (pictured here with two of his patients) said: "It's amazing to see the transformation in these two in just a couple weeks here at the retreat. Like I always say, if you replace the crack pipe with something/anything else, you can get better.

"I know many people doubted whether I would play competitive golf again, and to be honest, even I wasn't sure. A year ago at Hero, I was asked the question and gave a completely different answer. But after a year of working harder than I've ever worked to get back, I knew it was possible.

"We (Trump and I) didn't have a match and played for fun. I was testing drivers and fairway woods, and changed some settings. I think he enjoyed seeing the difference in shots when you experiment.'

"My guy says he'll throw the stash over the wall by the 7th green. You occupy Grinsky and I'll execute the drop."...

Woods went on to say he has now played with Trump, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and President Obama, adding he has, 'appreciated the opportunity'.

"My love for the game never left. It's just that the body would not allow me to play. Now my body is allowing me to do it again. Combine that with the amount of support I have received from so many people, and the help I've had from players and friends, and there is great reason for optimism."

Tiger's next tournament is the Farmers Insurance at Torrey Pines, January 26th.
