Donald Trump said he will take his ball and go home if he doesn’t get the Republican nomination this summer.
“I don’t think I’m going to lose, but if I do, I don’t think you’re ever going to see me again, folks. I think I’ll go to Turnberry and play golf or something,” he said during a rally in Maryland on Sunday.
Trump also poured scorn over other candidates who heap praise on their opponents during their concession speeches.
“They fight like hell for six months and they’re saying horrible things, the worst things you can imagine,” he said. “And then . . . the one who loses says, ‘I just want to congratulate my opponent. He is a brilliant man, he’ll be a great governor or president or whatever.’”
According to the New York Post, he also gave himself a new nickname during the rally calling himself “Wonderful Donald.”
“An election between Crooked Hillary and Wonderful Donald, it’ll be the biggest, most incredible vote-getting election in the history of our country,” he said.
Get ready Turnberry, we think you could be seeing a lot more of the Trump.
