Rory McIlroy has shrugged aside illness, sore ribs (he's been out for 7 weeks!) and a whole load of Trumpery to take the half way lead at the WGC in Mexico.
Rors is -9 nine under and the highlight of his round was a stunning hole-out-for-eagle from 150 yards at the par 4 14th hole.
On-fire Justin Thomas and Phil Mickelson are two shots back, alongside round one leader Ross Fisher.
"Trump? Not bad for a lad with a runway for hair..."
A stellar leader board also features Dustin Johnson and Andy Sullivan at --5, with Tyrrell Hatton continuing his excellent 'USA' form one shot back at -4.
Lee Westwood could not improve on his joint overnight leader status, carding an even round of 71 to stay -4.
"I'm in a great position," said Rors after a round that also included bogeys at 12 and 17. "Mind you, I felt like I could have been a few more ahead."

Olympic champion Justin Rose (He's never going to get tired of hearing that! Ed) is evens while Jordan Spieth is +1.
Masters champ Danny Willett (He won't get tired of hearing that either! – Ed) is not faring so well, however, and currently lies way back at +6 (He might get tired of hearing that... – Interfering Too Much Now Ed).
It's going to be one hell of a moving day.
