Rickie looking for back to back wins at The Players
And why we think he is up for it

Rickie Fowler will attempt to achieve a feat that proved beyond the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Greg Norman and even Jack Nicklaus when he sets out to defend his title tomorrow at The Players Championship.
No player has successfully defended the title since its inception in 1974, and only six players have won it more than once, so it’s a big ask.
"It's one of the toughest courses we play all year, probably the toughest field that we play all year," he said. "Whoever is winning is taking care of business, beating the best players at the time and conquering one of the toughest courses that we play.
"You have to be pretty spot on. It's a very fine line at this golf course. The targets and the driving areas are very small and you don't have much room around the greens.
"You're playing against the best players in the world, but someone has to break it [the streak of no back-to-back winners] at some point though, so we'll see what we can do."
We’ll be cheering him on that’s for sure, and Golf Spiv fancies him at 20/1. Winless this year he may be, but seven top tens makes him a serious contender to repeat last year's success.
