A recent €50 million upgrade of its sports, leisure and lifestyle facilities has propelled Quinta do Lago into Europe's premier contemporary luxury destination resort, and they are putting on a series of family orientated golf activities for the kids over the Easter holidays.
So if you fancy treating the sprogs to some golf, whilst you get in some R&R, why not head down Portugal way.
Named as ‘Europe's Best Golf Venue at the 2015 World Golf Awards, Quinta do Lago - an eight-time host of the Portuguese Open - has something to suit all tastes, interests and ages over the school holidays - with golf providing the main focus.
The resort's Paul McGinley Golf Academy will be hosting a series of Easter junior camps as part of a busy activity programme for children of all ages and abilities from March 21 to April 8.
Available to juniors aged five to 16 and taking place from Monday to Friday over a three-week period, the daily three-hour sessions are available for €175 per person and offer a comprehensive week's coaching for beginners, intermediates and advanced players in a fun and competitive environment.
Quinta do Lago's Sunday Fun Golf events will also take place each Sunday from March 20 to April 10, while the resort's Mini-Golf Course is open daily.
Families keen to test their skills against each other on Quinta do Lago's recently redesigned and award-winning North Course - created by renowned American architect Beau Welling in close collaboration with Paul McGinley - can do so in a new Family Golf Tournament on March 26.
