NFL star arrested after assault and golf cart theft

American football star David Parry, a starting defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts, was arrested in Scottsdale, Phoenix USA after assaulting a driver and stealing his golf cart taxi.

The golf cart taxi driver said he picked up three people from bar on Saturday evening and went about his business of driving them home. One of the passengers, Parry, allegedly hit the victim on the head as he received payment for dropping them off, and fled the scene with the golf cart.

Parry was then involved in a hit and run incident in the gof cart. When police turned up to the scene, they found the golf cart had crashed into a gate.  Parry was found nearby on the sidewalk, apparently drunk, according to police.

HeThe NFL regular was arrested on suspicion of robbery, auto theft, criminal damage, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
