As the UEFA Champions League continues to build to its climax, golfers across Europe have the opportunity to combine a three-night golf break next month with watching the top quarter-final clash between Benfica and Bayern Munich.
As part of ORIZONTE – Lisbon Golf’s new ‘Champions League & Golf’ package, guests can enjoy three nights’ bed and breakfast at the four-star Sana Metropolitan Hotel in Portugal’s capital, two rounds of golf and a ticket to the sold-out game on April 13 for only €446 per person (approx. £348).
ORIZONTE has a limited number of 30 places available for the last eight, second-leg tie between Portuguese league leaders Benfica and Bayern, top of the German Bundesliga table, which could also be the last time Pep Guardiola takes charge of his side in Europe before he leaves to become Manchester City manager at the end of the season.
As well as football, this great break for all golf and football fans – which takes place from April 11-14 – features 18 holes of golf at two of the finest courses in Lisbon’s Costa Azul region, Quinta do Peru Golf and Country Club – host of several European Challenge Tour events – and Aroeira, recently named as one of Europe’s Top 100 Courses.
In addition, golfers also have the opportunity to extend their Lisbon break and enjoy a further three rounds at any ORIZONTE course and four nights at the four-star Sana Sesimbra Hotel for an extra €323 per person.
All prices are based on two people sharing a twin room (single supplement costs an extra €107 per person), with transfers to the golf courses available for €100 per day.
