Louis Oosthuizen withdraws from the Joburg Open
After airport accident
Words: GolfPunk
Louis Oosthuizen has withdrawn from the Joburg Open after an accident at the airport.
Oosthuizen trapped his fingers in an airport trolley bay, and was left unable to grip a club.
He had been one of the favourites for the event, which is the final European Tour event of 2017, so it will come as a blow to the organizers.
The event is being held at Randpark Golf Club, and Dylan Frittelli, George Coetzee, Haydn Porteous and Darren Fichardt will all be competing for the tri-sanctioned event.
