Louis Oosthuizen completed his own personal grand slam yesterday at Quail Hollow, by coming second in all four Majors.

He finished T2 with Francesco Molinari and Patrick Reed to complete this rather unusual quadruple. And here’s how he celebrated!

His route to this ‘title’ included losing to Bubba Watson at The Masters in 2012, which mighty pissed off our own Golf Brigadier who had him at 88/1, and ties for second at the 2015 US Open and the 2015 Open.

He also came second at the Players in May, the so–called ‘fifth’ major, so he has a clean sweep in this department.

He’s still got a Major to his name, when he defeated Paul Casey at The Open in St Andrews in 2010, so it’s not all heartbreak.

And he walked away with a cheque for $784,000, so there will be no tears shed over this one, especially as Justin Thomas won it by two clear shots.
