How to make a ten

Sawgrass may be famed for its 17^th, but the 18^th has teeth as well, as India’s Anirban Lahiri found out on Friday to his cost.

He was looking all set to make the cut, having navigated the 17^th with a par, when he stepped onto the tee at the 18^th.

But then things started to get wet, as he found the water off the tee, and then found it again with his second, and third shots.

Lahiri ended up with a 10, and the weekend off. But he's going to be snowballing the positives, probably whilst he's reorganising his personal real–estate.
