English golfer breaks Guinness World Record

For the fastest individual hole in golf

Steve Jeffs, a 31-year-old English gym teacher, has just broken the Guinness World record for “Fastest hole of golf, individual.”

Jeff recorded a time of one minute and 50.6 seconds to break the existing record by two seconds.

Steve could actually have used a buggy between shots, which seems a bit counter-intuitive, but opted to run the hole – the Par 5 1st at Tiverton GC in Devon.

The hole for this particular Guinness world record challenge has to be at least 500 yards long, something to bear in mind if you’re thinking of challenging Steve’s new world record.
