Bushnell Golf launches new Tour V4
Faster, smaller, better!
Words: James Greenwood
Bushnell Golf has launched the latest addition to its family of rangefinders with the new Tour V4.
The Tour V4 and Tour V4 Slope Editions are not only faster than the previous Tour V3 models, but are also 30 per cent smaller and more ergonomically designed, making it even easier for golfers to use on the course.
With a brand new, even faster processor the Tour V4 provides golfers with accuracy of within one yard, helping to provide yardages instantly and giving golfers the information required to hit it closer to the pin and ultimately shoot lower scores.
The Tour V4 comes in both slope and non-slope versions, with the slope model utilising Bushnell’s Tour-validated Slope Technology to provide golfers with accurate actual playing yardages that are compensated for elevation changes.
Scott Peterson, Senior Product Manager at Bushnell explained the rationale behind the design; “Our Slope technology is trusted by Professionals across the world, and we wanted to continue this with the Tour V4 models. In the past, amateurs have been reluctant to purchase rangefinders with Slope Technology as it was illegal to use them in tournaments. However, with the new R&A and USGA rule change, we were able to introduce the ability for golfers to turn the slope mode off as required, which we expect to open the product’s appeal out to a much wider audience.”
In addition to the new design, the Tour V4 models also feature Pinseeker with JOLT Technology, which confirms when you have locked on to the target. Bushnell’s unique JOLT Technology provides short vibrating bursts to signal when the progressive PinSeeker Technology has isolated the target and locked onto the flag, making it much easier for all golfers to obtain consistent, accurate yardages in an instant.
The Tour V4 and Tour V4 Slope will be available from authorised Bushnell stockists from June, and will have a suggested retail price of £269 for the Tour V4 and £309 for the Tour V4 Slope.
