Online bookmakers 888sport have today slashed Justin Thomas' odds on winning a major this year after back–to–back wins.
Justin Thomas has started 2017 in frightening form, going 49 under par across two weeks of golf in Hawaii which saw him win the SBS Tournament of Champions and the Sony Open in Hawaii in the space of 10 days.
This has led to online bookmakers 888sport slashing the odds to just 5/1 for Justin Thomas to win a Major this year, cut from the initial offering of 20/1.
If you think JT can follow on his fine form throughout the season, he's a generous 50/1 to pick up two or more Majors with 888sport, down from the 250/1 at the back end of 2016. Thomas will be looking to replicate the achievement of good friend Jordan Spieth by winning the Masters at the second effort, as Spieth famously did in 2015. Thomas is 25/1 to win the first Major of the season in Augusta with 888sport, with the odds being slashed from 80/1 before his winning streak got under way.
