Ariya Jutanugarn leads the Ricoh Women's British Open

As round three gets underway

Thai Ariya Jutanugarn is holding her lead at the Ricoh British Open by two shots from Mirim Lee.

25-year old Mirim Lee from South Korea was one shot ahead of Shanshan Fen after day two of the Ricoh British Open.

On day one Mirim shot a record 10 under par 62, which consisted of an incredible 13 birdies and 2 bogeys.

Lee, whose 62 also equalled the record for the lowest round at a Women's British Open, commented after the first round: "Today was great, but it is only the first round."

Day two saw Mirim shoot a more down to earth one under 71, which allowed Shanshan Feng to come up on the ropes, and trail her by a single shot after an opening 66, followed by a 68.

Lee recovered from an early dropped shot in her third round, but steadied the ship with a succession of 4 birdies to sit 2 shots back of the leader Ariya Jutanugran through 15.
