ARCCOS Caddie prediction proves spot on in Dubai
Outcome of ‘Moliwood’ clash at Tour finale validates Arccos’ scoring analys

Arccos, the market leading golf data and artificial intelligence brand, proved correct in its prediction that Tommy Fleetwood would beat his Race to Dubai rival and great friend Francesco Molinari by four shots in the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai last weekend.
Using the award-winning A.I. platform - Arccos Caddie - the personal shot data from both Fleetwood and Molinari was used to calculate the ideal strategy for both players on every hole at the Earth Course and simulate their predicted scores. The simulation forecast that Fleetwood would beat Molinari by an average of one shot per round, resulting in a four-shot difference when the competition came to an end on Sunday.
After four impressive rounds from the undefeated Ryder Cup pairing, Fleetwood finished T16 on ten-under par, while Italian Molinari finished T26 with a score of six-under par – precisely the four-shot gap between the two stars that Arccos had predicted last week.
The pair known worldwide as 'Moliwood' were the only two players who could win the Race to Dubai, with the title coming down to their respective performances at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Although Fleetwood finished with the better score, it was not enough to retain his Race to Dubai trophy. An incredible year for Molinari, who won the Open Championship back in July, was topped off by being crowned this year's Race to Dubai champion.
"It was great to see how accurate our prediction was on the Earth Course over the weekend," said Andrew Turner, Arccos' Global Sales Director. "The result in Dubai matching precisely with our simulation, is a testament to how accurate the data produced by Arccos Caddie is and we’ll continue to produce similar analyses in the future.
"Arccos Caddie is being used all over the world and helping thousands of users to shoot lower scores. The successful simulation we ran with Fleetwood and Molinari just goes to show how accurate our technology can be and we’re excited for what lies ahead in the coming year with our brand," he added.
