Sunice introduce new techniques and fabrics

For innovative golf outerwear

Sunice Huxley

Sunice prides itself on leading the way by using new fabrics and techniques in its outerwear and apparel.  This season is no different with the launch of a new thermal collection as well as the introduction of a new laminate technology.

The Zephal™ range has become increasingly popular with amateur and Tour players in recent seasons.  Whilst it is a Tour favourite, jackets in this collection, such as the Carleton, still come with reasonable price tags (SRP £139.99).  Zephal™ has gained traction in recent years because as well as offering value it is one the lightest  woven waterproof fabrics available on the market.  It delivers incredible performance with a Waterproof Rating of 10,000 MM and Breathability of 10,000 MVT and also comes with a 3–year guarantee.

The Zephal™ collection also sees the introduction of a new laminate technology.  The Jay jacket features a 2.5 stretch laminate which as well as being unique to golf delivers 4-way stretch.  As with all styles made from Zephal™ the Jay is extremely lightweight as well as being waterproof and breathable.

Freedom of movement is also key to the design, and means that you can play the shot you want to being completely unrestricted by your waterproof jacket.

The new Thermal collection brings together several types of performance fabrics to deliver comfortable, warm, playable garments that are ideal for golfers who want to get out in all weathers.  3M™ Thinsulate™ is an incredible new insulating fabric that looks, feels and performs like natural down, but has twice the loft when wet without the allergens.  The jackets using this product, such as the Lincoln for men and the Elsa for ladies, have stretch panels for ease of movement.  The Elsa is one of the first golf pieces to feature a hood for added warmth.

Climaloft™ Thermals are powered by your own body’s heat. The ultra-fine polyester fibres trap air and keep you warm even when it’s wet outside.

The jackets in this range include the Huxley for men and Christina for ladies and also benefit from stretch panels.  All of the jackets in the Thermal collection are very lightweight – even when wet - and with a water repellent finish they are perfect for 3 season play.
