This week is the final week of the 2024 LIV Golf season as it makes its first visit to Dallas for the season-ending Team Championship at Maridoe Golf Club.

Located on the site of the former Columbian Country Club, the property was bought in 2014 by Albert Huddleston, whose goal is to provide the world’s best players a chance to compete on a championship-quality course.

The course was remodelled in 2017 by architect Steve Smyers, the visionary behind the designs of Isleworth and Old Memorial, and now measures a whopping 7,567 yards in length at a par of 72.

Since it's redesign the course hosted the 2021 USGA Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship and several other significant tournaments at the amateur and collegiate levels.

Hole No. 2, at 655 yards, is the second-longest hole played this season, whereas the 337-yard par-4 sixth should be drivable each day. The tees, fairways and greens are all Bermuda grass, with a projected green stimp speed of 12.

The team championship format sees some mild changes and adjustments this year, as only the top 3 teams will qualify for automatic first round byes into Saturday's semi finals. Additionally captains may opt to participate in the singles or foursomes matches during the first two days of match play.

Automatically qualifying for Saturdays semi-finals are current team standing leaders, Bryson DeChambeau's  Crusher GC, Jon Rahm's 2nd place Legion XIII and Cameron Smith's 3rd place Ripper GC.
