• Competition: Three rounds/54 holes of stroke play
• Purse: $25 million US ($20 million individual, $5 million team)
• Winner’s Share: $4 million USD (individual), $3 million USD (team)

KEY STORYLINES

• The LIV Golf League kicks off its second full 14-tournament season and third overall since the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational beta-season of 2022.
• El Camaleón Mayakoba is hosting the LIV Golf season opener for the second consecutive year.
• Reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm makes his LIV Golf debut.
• Charles Howell III is the defending individual champion, and his Crushers GC team returns intact as the defending team tournament champion.

• Hosting LIV Golf League season opener for second consecutive year
• Designed by LIV Golf Commissoner and CEO Greg Norman, the course melds into various ecosystems, including tropical junge, dense mangroves and freshwater canals, and two holes on the beach with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea
• Defending individual champ is Charles Howell, who won by four strokes last year at 16 under
• Defending team champion is Crushers GC, which won with a counting score of 26 under
• El Camaleón has hosted world-class professional golf events since 2007
• In addition to Howell, past winners at El Camaleón currently playing for LIV Golf include Graeme McDowell and Pat Perez
• Recent updates include: Green complexes at holes 4 and 8; expanded professional tees at holes 9 and 12; and new professional tee at holes 10 and 18
• Grass type: Paspalum Seailse 1 on all tees, fairways, greens, first cut, rough and fringe/collar
