Trump misses Shinzo Abe's golf bunker theatrics...
Luckily we didn't...
Words: Tim Southwell Styling: GolfPunk
President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe hit the golf course this week, during Trumper's tour of Asia. While the two world leaders took a break from trade negotiations to play a few holes, Abe took a tumble—but Trump, probably deep in thought about how most comically to blow us all up, didn’t even notice.
The Prime Minister had climbed into one of the course’s bunkers and was attempting a recovery shot, but when he attempted to climb out of the bunker, he appears to slip, taking a spill that resulted in a not-quite-Olympics-worthy gymnastics routine.
Watch Abe's flirtation with scathing here...
Luckily, it looks like he emerged unscathed.... It's a funny word 'unscathed' isn't it? If he'd hurt himself would he have been 'scathed'? No one ever actually gets 'scathed' do they? I mean... (Just get on with it! – Ed)...
DT who appears to have had his back to the Prime Minster at the time, missed the whole thing. Unfortunately for Abe, a circling Japanese news helicopter and broadcast crew following the round did not, and the incident was on Japanese, and world television before you could say mulligan.
