Manors Golf Classic Collection SS22
Brand chooses the beauty of Royal County Down for launch
Set against the backdrop of the Slieve Donard mountain range is one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious golf clubs - Royal County Down.
To say this is a special place, would be an understatement. It’s a course that is more than worthy of its claim to being the current number one ranked club in the UK and number four in the world. Given that, one can understand why Manors chose this ethereal landscape as the host for their Classic Collection 22 campaign shoot.
Blessed with two days of sunshine, the team navigated the tricky terrain, high winds and a plethora of blind tee shots. This really is as good as it gets - links golf in its most raw of formats.
Our downtime was spent in the charming town of Newcastle, just a stone's throw from the first tee box. Rather fortuitously, our time there overlapped with one of Ireland’s most celebrated events of the year, St Patrick’s day. It wasn’t just birdie putts we’d be sinking this trip.
Photographed by the talented Louis Bamford; the campaign documents a golfing adventure. The highs, the lows and the moments of beauty that come from walking the fairways that have hosted golfers for almost 150 years.
The collection represents our progression as a brand, pushing away from our core logo word mark and into a more expressive identity that includes new graphic treatments. Manors want to continue to push the boundaries between our relationship with golf and our everyday life.
This season’s highlights include English made knitwear that is spun in the Yorkshire Dales by a 200-year-old company; hand-linked V-Necks and Intarsia Knit Cardigans. These are paired with straight-legged cotton twill elastane trousers for wear on and off the course. The range is complete with our classic cotton polos which now come in a fresh set of colours.
The collection is available via the manorsgolf.com website as well as a select group of premium retailers.
