Cobra driver supports On Course Foundation
Limited edition exclusive to American Golf
Words: GolfPunk
American Golf is teaming up with Cobra Puma Golf to donate 10% from every purchase of the Limited Edition Cobra camo SPEEDZONE drivers to military charity On Course Foundation. Available exclusively online at American Golf, the Limited Edition SPEEDZONE and SPEEDZONE Xtreme drivers will make a huge impact on the fairway, but also on the lives wounded, injured and sick Service personnel and veterans.
“On Course Foundation is a fantastic charity that we’re very proud to have supported for several years,” commented Iember Gordon, Retail Marketing Manager at American Golf. “When Cobra told us about the Limited Edition camo clubs, the military link of the camo design and our commitment to OCF was the perfect match. Cobra have been fantastic in their support for this initiative and I hope that together, we can raise much needed funds for OCF.”
The Limited Edition SPEEDZONE drivers feature tonal digital camo accents throughout the sole and a full camo face with target crosshairs. The unique design reflects both the brand’s support for the military and the precision and speed that the clubs deliver. These stylish additions to the SPEEDZONE line come equipped with a Lamkin Crossline grip and Aldila Rogue Silver 65 130 MSI shaft, delivering performance to match their unique design.
With this initiative, Cobra Puma and American Golf will be supporting On Course Foundation’s work using golf to aid the recovery of wounded, injured and sick Service personnel. Through its nationwide golf events and programme developing employment opportunities in the golf industry for its members, On Course Foundation has supported the recovery of thousands of Service personnel and veterans, but in recent months it has missed out on many of its traditional fundraising opportunities.
“A lot of our fundraising is through captain’s charities and events held at golf clubs,” explains Mark Schorah, Head of Events & Employment at OCF. “Obviously this year many activities have been limited, so initiatives like this from Cobra Puma and American Golf are even more important. We’ve had fantastic support from American Golf and their customers for several years, so we’re especially grateful that they continue to show their generosity and continue to help us make a real difference in the recovery of so many Service men and women.”
The Limited edition drivers will be available exclusively at www.americangolf.co.uk from Tuesday 25th August with an SRP of £399.
