Srixon launch new Z Star XV

Srixon today launched the latest improved models to the excellent Z-STAR series golf balls.
The all-new, 5th generation SRIXON Z-STAR and SRIXON Z-STAR XV promise golfers more distance, more spin and more consistency in the wind, and will be available in stores from 17th February and have a suggested retail price of £44.99.
To celebrate the launch of the new Z-STAR Series, Srixon has also confirmed a new partnership with Prostate Cancer UK that will see the delivery of limited edition 15 ball ‘Z-STAR/ Z-STAR XV Bonus Packs’.

The outer core with more consistent hardness promotes higher repulsion and increases ball speed, and the inner core with enhanced outer hardness and inner softness provides the optimal launch conditions having higher launch angle and lower driver spin. Combined with the newly developed dimple pattern, it delivers the best flight performance ever in the SRIXON Z-STAR history*.

Key Technology (2): Newly Developed Dimple Pattern
Newly developed “powerful-trajectory” 338 Speed Dimple Pattern maintains ball speed and produces more penetrating flight.
The New Z-STAR series utilizes 5 different dimple sizes to improve the relationship between uniformity and occupancy for more efficient and longer flight. By decreasing the drag coefficient right after launch, it helps the ball travel through the air with less resistance and maintains ball speed. By increasing the lift coefficient after the ball reaches its apex, it helps the ball stay in the air longer to maximise distance.
