Smart device to avoid COVID-19

Cobblestone Golf Course in Georgia, USA, has come up with an ingenious alternative to the raised cup for golf holes. The smart and simple device allows for a player to hole out and then eject the ball from the hole without touching the flag or the hole.

Although the ruling bodies for those countries still playing are allowing raised cups, it is clear that it makes for lower scoring.  Although you can't claim a holed shot from off the green if it strikes the raised cup any putt that hits the cup is deemed holed.

It is not clear who develop the device but they should probably get themselves down the patent office as even post COVID-19 it would be a smart device to help the elderly or those with bad backs.
