Bizarre message from Greg Norman

Greg Norman has never been a shrinking violet and could never be accused of lacking self-confidence. From the man who is not adverse to send the odd explicit pictures of himself and recently advised on how to stop the Australian bushfires, comes his response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Norman posted a message on Twitter saying “No matter what anyone says we all can make it!” and that he was “sending positive vibes to all today, we WILL get through this chaos. Hope this lightens your day.”

All well and good you might think but below the message the big man appended a copy of a Swan lager advert from back in the 1980s. The ad starts with Norman running out the sea, surfboard tucked under his arm and moves on to him struggling on the golf course but finally coming good and winning The Open Championship.

So, what Norman hoped would lighten people’s day was a video of him and swan beer. We get the latter but not necessarily the former!
