Trump de–friends Carly Booth

What a difference a day makes, as Donald Trump has now de-friended Carly Booth on Twitter. As we reported two days ago, Carly had a new addition to her social media following as Donald Trump had friended her on Twitter.

And it's not as if Trump follows that many people – 45 in total, until he added Carly. We asked Carly if she had any idea as to why DT was following her, but she had absolutely no idea whatsoever.

They've never met, although she was playing in the US Women's Open, which was controversially held at Trump's Beddington course in New Jersey. Maybe she caught his eye there? And maybe Ivanka got the hump when she saw the new addition to DT's Twitter account?

But their brief Twitter liaison is alas no more, and with it any hope of a GolfPunk retweet by the Pres to his 34.6 million followers. Maybe DT will pick up on this piece and give us a re-tweet?

We know how much he loves his golf, and we're going to be writing nice things about his course in Aberdeen, which is a potential Scottish Open venue if the politician's don't get in the way. So pretty please DT.
