Ernie Els has withdrawn from the KLM Open so that he can stay with family and friends in Florida to deal with the fallout from Hurricane Irma, whilst Greg Norman takes to Instgram to show the true force of the hurricane, and Ian Poulter ups sticks for New York.
Els released a statement on Monday stating that his "first concern at the moment and the coming days is to support my family and our friends and staff at Els for Autism. We must be ready for the consequences of this terrible storm."
The school that Els and his wife Liezl built for autistic children in southern Florida was forced to close as Hurricane Irma came on shore.
Daan Slooter, director of the tournament that starts Thursday at The Dutch course in Spijk, says he understands Els' choice, "and we hope ... that the hurricane damage is not too bad and that everybody is safe."
Meanwhile, Greg Norman has decided to sit out the storm at his home in Jupiter, Florida.
He's made these three posts on Instagram which show the real force of the hurricane, and the massive rainfall.
Ian Poulter wasn't taking any chances with the Hurricane, and he's boarded up his house and upped sticks to New York.
