The 146th Open tee times and pairings

Here are the tee times and pairings for day one of the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, and the supergroups to be following.

There are some groupings that immediately catch the eye, with three strong groupings going out straight in a row.

At 0936 Pat Perez, Padraig Harrington, Thomas Pieters tee off, immediately followed by Henrik Stenson, Si Woo Kim, and Jordan Spieth.

Then immediately on their heels is Justin Rose, Louis Oosthuizen, and Justin Thomas. But still there's no let up, as it's Hideki Matsuyama, Brooks Koepka, and local hero Tommy Fleetwood.

That's really socking it to you! 

You'll then have to wait until 13.04 to see Jason Day teeing it up with Open winner Zach Johnson, and Masters winner Sergio Garcia.

So who is Rory teeing it up with? Well, none other than Dustin Johnson and Charl Schwartzel. And right behind them will be Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Lee Westwood.
