Sergio Garcia named European Tour Player of The Year
For his Masters triumph

Sergio Garcia has been named Hilton European Tour Golfer of the Year.
It really has been Sergio’s year both on and off the course. He began the year with a victory at the Dubai Desert Classic in February, before his win at the Masters on what would have been Seve’s 666th birthday.
He won again at his home Andalucia Valderrama Masters in October, and finished fourth in the European Tour's Race to Dubai.
Life has been sweet off the course too, as he married his fiancé Angel Akins, who is now expecting their first child in March – just in time for The Masters.
“This is an amazing honour,” said Garcia. “I think both on and off the golf course it has been a unique and unbelievable year, and one that I will definitely remember my whole life.
