REALiTEE Golf releases stunning night view

REALiTEE Golf, creator of golf’s new indoor experience integrating social, simulator and live play, has revealed a photograph showing a stunning new night–time interior view.

The image shows how the new REALiTEE Golf facilities ­– targeting a grand opening on New Year’s Eve 2017 – will use ball–positioning laser lights and a wrap-around video wall to create a unique, wide-open space for night-time golf indoors.

“This will feel like nothing you have experienced before” said REALiTEE Golf founder Dave Shultz. “REALiTEE Golf is golf evolved, and a true first for the sport. It takes golf into a new area of family entertainment – as well as providing a best-ever practice and play venue for already–committed golfers.”

The new image shows a section of a REALiTEE Golf ‘Live Play’ area, with ceiling-mounted laser-style light beams showing players where to place their ball after hitting their approach shot in one of the venue’s eighteen golf simulators.

A cosmic backdrop of galaxies and stars creates an outer-space atmosphere in the image, but the huge video wall can be programmed to show any scene, from a peaceful golf course to animations and live-action golfing videos.

The REALiTEE Golf experience combines long-game simulator play with short-game live play, in purpose–built indoor arenas, which take up a fraction of the space normally needed for a golf course.

Unlike driving ranges, REALiTEE Golf enables “true” golf to be played, right to the drop of the final putt.

“The most important part of golf is played from 40 yards and in” said Shultz, “and REALiTEE Golf will be the first truly authentic and complete golf game which golfers can actually hole out indoors, night or day, in complete comfort whatever the weather outside, and with their whole family right alongside them.”

Visitors to REALiTEE Golf will enjoy the latest TruGolf simulators and ball-tracking hardware, with virtual golf on offer at dozens of the world’s most prestigious courses via TruGolf’s E6Golf simulation software.

Technology will be everywhere you look, including unique smartwatches with a custom REALiTEE Golf app to navigate golfers between the simulator and live play areas.
