Jesper Parnevik now a reality TV Star

50-year-old Jesper Parnevik is getting big television ratings back home in Sweden as the star of Sweden’s most popular reality-TV show, The Parneviks.

According to Jesper: “It’s like the show Feherty, but it’s about our family. So we have three, four Swedish politicians, movie stars, rock stars, athletes, whatever for a week and they stay with us and hang out with the family and kids.”

His wife, Mia, was named “New TV Personality of the Year,” and his four kids have also become famous, with fans queuing for eight hours to meet them at a fan event.

“When the girls saw my son and all that, it was like the Beatles came to town,” said Parnevik of his 14-year-old son, Phoenix, who was named in honour of his first win on Tour in 1998.

The second season of the show has recently launched, and Jesper has said “We got a five-star rating. Five of five, that’s great.”
