Is John Daly up for Birdies Beef and Beer Triathlon?

As we reported yesterday, Steven Bowditch and Boo Weekley have challenged Beef Johnson to a Birdie,Beef and Beer triathlon. Then in a bold move, Beef summoned the big guns by asking John Daly to be his team mate.
But would JD come to the party, or would he lay off the booze?
Well, here's his answer:
We are not aware of The Drinking Golfers Association board of directors "out of Arkansas" but we are sure they are sterling fellows, and will ensure a clean fight, sorry booze up.
We are pretty confident about Beef's ability to handle some serious pintage, as he has been well trained in the UK. But if they move to the JDs and Coke now that could be a different matter. Stick to the beer Beef and you have the beating of them. We think Miller Light won't be an issue for you.
