Greg Norman selling two properties for $55 million
But why $55 million?
Words: John Dean
Greg Norman has two properties on the market, a Colorado ranch and his Jupiter Island, FL, home, for $55 million each.
Why $55 million, you ask? Because 55 is his lucky number, Greg Norman has told the Wall Street Journal.
Seven Lakes Ranch, Norman’s ranch in Meeker, Colorado, has been on and off the market since 2011, though these earlier attempts to sell the property were not apparently “serious”.
The ranch is set in 2 million acres of the White River National Forest. It has 11,000 acres of pasture, grazing, lakes and miles of White River frontage, where you can fly fish.
There's also elk and bird hunting, skeet shooting, horseback riding, and mountain biking on the property.
"The next person who buys it will be a true outdoorsman who wants to own a piece of the American frontier," realtor Steven Shane told the WSJ.
The estate also includes a 14,000-square-foot, eight-suite main house; guest cabins; outbuildings; and even a dance hall.
Norman is also still trying to sell his Jupiter Island pad.
