GolfPunk teams up with Virgin Golf Swingers

GolfPunk are teaming up with Virgin Flying Club Swingers, Virgin Atlantic’s innovative loyalty golf programme, which returns for a thirteenth season this Spring with some brand new competitions, a new look site and of course the awe-inspiring final.

GolfPunk are joining Dirty Dog Eyewear, Cleveland Golf, Srixon, Trendy Golf, Skechers, Stewart Golf, Gleneagles, Hertz, Level 4 Golf and Virgin Holidays, who once more will be providing amazing prizes and giveaways for the members, throughout the season.

After last year’s memorable final on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, the lucky 24 Season 12 finalists will fly Virgin Atlantic to South Africa this September for a Team Europe v Team Rest of the World Ryder Cup style contest at the world famous Sun City Resort.

The final is for most players unlike anything else they will have experienced in amateur golf.  Captains, chosen from within each team, host team meetings each night where the all-important Pairings are announced for each day’s play and tactics are decided.

Hearing your name read out over the PA on the first tee ‘Representing Europe’ or ‘Representing Rest of the World’ sends a tingle down your spine. Every putt and every shot is not just for yourself but for your team and the Swingers they represent at home who didn’t make the final.

There’s nothing like the pressure and excitement of the Swingers final, as you get to play foursomes on day one, fourball matches on day two and Singles matches on day three to decide the winners of the Season 13 title.

The final is not the only event to be taking place during  the  season with members days scheduled at Moor Park GC, Royal Ashdown GC and Sandiway GC in the UK and a very special US day at Maderas GC in Southern California.
